This is the one you’ve all been waiting for – not only the most prestigious tournament of the UK calendar year, but also the biggest Fireball event yet held anywhere in the world!
The 2011 European Fireball Open will take place in Manchester on the 21st-23rd October at the Monton Suite of the Monton House Hotel. Full information and local accommodation deals can be found here.
As well as being one of the biggest foosball events in Europe, it will also be the final Fireball event of the ITSF 2011 tour, and so the last chance to practise for the 2012 World Cup and World Championship tournaments, for the first time this year set to feature Fireball as one of the five official competition tables. After the success of last year’s European Fireball Open and the continued enthusiastic welcome of Fireball into the UK and more globally, we can only expect this year’s competition to be better than ever. As an ITSF Master Series tournament, this event will attract top players from all over the globe, as well as home grown champions such as local Manchester hero and Great Britain Captain Robert Atha who will be looking to defend his many titles in his home turf.

There are events and competitions for all ages, genders and abilities – from total beginners to the world’s best. Entry for many events is free for first time players and players 18 years old or under. The schedule will feature a selection of purely competitive events for the serious player as well as more light-hearted events for those wishing to relax and wind down at the table.
Pre-registration for this event can be found here.
