The Bar Kick Bonzini Open 2009
The Kick Babyfoot Association in association with the British Foosball Association is proud to present the Bar Kick Bonzini Open 2009 at Bar Kick, Shoreditch, London.
Background:
This event is sanctioned by the game’s UK governing body the BFA, and will count towards the Player of the Year rankings; subsequently the points will go towards the selection of the National Team. This represents a landmark in the UK Bonzini (French table football) scene, as it is now a requirement for Bonzini to be represented in the BFA UK Championships in October, which is the highest-profile multi-table event in the table football circuit.
Ranked Events:
The Bar Kick Bonzini Open caters for different levels of skill by using the official rankings which categorise players by their previous results. From the lowest to highest rank: Novice, Amateur (Rookie); Semi-Pro; Pro; Pro-Master.
The event comprises of Open and Rookie singles and doubles. ‘Open’ means all players are eligible to participate (entry fees varying with rank). Rookie events are dedicated to unranked newcomers, Novice and Amateur players so they get a chance to compete at the same level. There are separate Women’s Singles and Doubles events.
Prizes: Medals & Prize Fund
Freebies at registration and the traditional Gold, Silver and Bronze engraved medals reward for achieving Top Three in any event. As with all National Opens, this event will have a cash prize fund built from entry fees with 80% payout. That's right - being the best at table football can earn you money!
Summary:
If you love table football, and are getting too good to play against your regular friends, this is the event for you to test your skills in a fun-loving competitive environment. Eight high quality football tables are available throughout the week. Doors open 10am on Saturday and Sunday to allow for registration on the day and for participants to warm up before their matches. Microphone announcements and specialised computer software to ensure smooth running of event.
Newcomers and beginners! This event has been designed especially for you to participate the ‘Open’ at the start of the day; followed by Rookie-only events to ensure maximum enjoyment throughout the day.
