Rumors and speculation aside, the man who single handedly transformed the 70’s fad “foosball” into a professional sport, Lee Peppard is officially back in the foosball business! Famous for his Tournament Soccer table and Million Dollar Pro Tour, Peppard has spent the past twenty years producing and promoting the worlds finest soft tipped electronic dart games under his Medalist brand name.
According to Lee, “the timing was just right. The coin operated and on premise businesses are in real need of a low priced stable earner like foosball.” As if Peppard’s name attached to his new LEGEND brand foosball table was not enough Peppard brought on Johnny Lott, author of the Complete book of Foosball and 2000 Table Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee to design the “worlds finest soccer table”.
According to Johnny, “the table is completed and will be available in early 2006. We are also releasing our promotional plans at that time via a website launch. We are doing everything to reach out, to past TS players and to grow many new players.”
The new LEGEND table will feature an electronic model as well as the standard mechanical mainstay, plus a full line of high quality home tables. A custom, smartly designed, one arm, overhead light is also available. (Featuring LED scoring in the tower for the electronic model)
