BFA Constitution Update - 8 April 2006

The BFA Committee is looking to amend the BFA Constitution to reduce the administrative burden of organising general meetings and bring wording in line with what has been discussed at the last two AGMs.

This change has been unanimously approved by the BFA Committee and notice is hereby given to all BFA members to lodge any objections they may have by 8 May 2006.

The BFA Committee 2006 invokes section 7.1.1b of BFA Constitution 4.0 to update sections 5.4.2 and 5.4.3 of the constitution (which will become BFA Constitution 4.1) as follows:

5.4.2: Notice will be given in the form of a letter posted to each member or via other means where it has been agreed.

5.4.2: Notice will be given in the form of a prominently displayed and clear announcement on the main BFA website or a letter posted to each member or via other means where it has been agreed.

5.4.3: Notice is taken as received two working days after it has been sent.
