How to Play - The Tables
Table Accessories
There is a wide variety of accessories that are used in tournaments.
- Handle Grips - very common, either of the latex condom or strappy raquet-handle variety (see links below).
- Gloves - golf gloves frequently worn to increase grip, often in conjunction with handle grips.
- Lube - silicone based lubricants for bars - those suitable for mountain bikes are ideal (not WD40 or other oil based lubricants as they can damage plastic parts).
- Talcum Powder - light dusting over sandblasted glass surfaces can be used to increase grippiness.
- Towel - sometimes used by the sweaty to keep brow and hands dry.
- Beer - required by some, avoided by others. Spilling classed as a capital offence.

Dave Perrott is a regular on the UK tour, and is willing to try his hand at anything. Including, it seems, the manufacture of 'extra extra-thick' latex Handle-Socks (or condoms as otherwise known).
These heavy duty grips can sometimes be purchased off Dave at a nominal cost.

Makers of overwrap grips, including the 'Point 6', as favoured by many pro UK players. |
