Foosball Promotions - White Stuff World Cup

Saturday 25th May - Sunday 26th May

Tornado Tournament: Open Doubles, Open Singles, Novice/Beginner's Doubles, Pro-Celebrity and the BIG one - The World Cup.

The White Stuff World Cup

White Stuff in association with Foosball Promotions present a total £10,000 prize fund Tornado tournament to be held at: The Kings Club, 137b, Wandsworth Road, Vauxhall, London SW8

Introduction

The White Stuff World Cup is a hectic, fast moving competition. Starting off the show is an event especially for Beginners and Novice players. This will be a pleasant introduction before the mayhem which follows.

For the World Cup, teams will have to qualify for the later stages by first playing a qualifying round and then getting through a group stage. The remaining teams will battle it out in a single-elimination format. The qualifying round will consist of 16 groups of up to 5 teams per group, all-play-all. The group stage is also all-play-all, this time 8 groups of 4 teams. 16 teams will play in the final single-elimination stage.

Later in the evening, a party will put you into the mood to watch a Pro-Celebrity event with a brand-new table as the top prize. The highlight of the party will be the World Cup final. After that, if anyone is left standing, we will have some fun events like 4-on-4, 2 Ball Rollerball, Goalie Warriors, whatever takes your fancy.....

The fun continues on Sunday with a full blown Open Doubles and Open Singles. Some of the top pro players from around the world will be there. Players from right across Europe will be attending as will the World Doubles Champion and some American Pro Masters who will demonstrate the ultimate in control and matchplay.

Checkout the £10,000 prize fund. Rather than have a few big prizes, what we've done is to spread it out so that as many players as possible get a bit of the action. In the World Cup, the top 32 teams win, whilst the top 28 teams in the other main events will also have a smile on their faces.

Spaces will be limited, so get your pre-registration entry forms in and don't miss out on what will be the biggest and best fun event for a long time!

Rules of Play

Please note that all White Stuff events are to be played to the full Tornado rules. The full Tornado rules can be very daunting. In order to help beginners to become familiar with the spirit of the full Tornado rules, we have condensed them into the BFA Abbreviated Tornado Rules, which take up only two pages of A4. The abbreviated rules will see you through the majority of tournament situations, and are an excellent basis for appreciating the full rule set.
