Foosball Promotions present a two-day Tornado tournament at:

Foosball Promotions will hold 2 tournaments which will include Open Doubles and Semi-Pro Doubles events.  These will be restricted to UK players only. Whichever team gains most points (excluding bonus points) in Open Doubles over the 2 Open Doubles events will win trips to Las Vegas to play in the Hall of Fame Classic.  Similarly, whichever team gains most points (excluding bonus points) in Semi-Pro Doubles over the 2 Semi-Pro Doubles events will win trips as well.  The cost of the flights and entry fees will be included however the winners will have to pay for their own accommodation, meals, games etc.

Please note that only points gained in Open Doubles will count towards the winners of one pair of tickets and only points gained in Semi-Pro Doubles will count towards the other pair.

Also the points are awarded by team and not by individual.  So if a player wins the 2 Open Doubles events with 2 different partners it is very unlikely that he/she will win a ticket because another team is likely to do well (eg 2nd and 3rd) in the 2 events and score more points as a team.

If 2 or more teams tie then they will have to play off for the tickets.

Foosball Promotions also plan to hold a UK Open championships which is likely to be on 16/17-February.  This will not be restricted to UK players and will be open to anyone.

Points will be awarded as follows:

64-Chart  (i.e. 33 to 64 teams entered in the event)
1st  70pts, 2nd  55, 3rd  45, 4th  35, 5th  25, 7th  20, 9th  15, 13th 10, 17th 5


32-Chart  (i.e. 17 to 32 teams entered in the event)
1st  60pts, 2nd  45, 3rd  35, 4th  25, 5th  15, 7th  10, 9th  5


16-Chart  (i.e. 9 to 16 teams entered in the event)
1st  50pts, 2nd  35, 3rd  25, 4th  15, 5th  10

Prize Fund

Furthermore the Foosball Promotions ranking list will not be updated until all 3 of these competitions have been completed.  So if you are a Semi-Pro or Novice before the first of these tournaments and you are promoted to a
Pro before the second one then you'll still be able to enter the Semi-Pro doubles event in the second of these tournaments.
