Event Format - Swiss System

A format that guarantees all players a lot of games. Players play opponents who have the same record they have (e.g. Won 2 Lost 1). Seeding in the first round or 2 rounds should keep top players playing too early. This format can be very popular, but there are vocal critics. Drawbacks include not being able to predict who you will be playing in the future, and players not wishing to play on when they start doing less well than they expected.
